Allergy and immunology is the sub-specialty of internal medicine concerned with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of problems with the human immune system such as:

  • Respiratory tract diseases (allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma)
  • Occupational skin and lung disease
  • Skin disorders (eczema, contact dermatitis, hives)
  • Gastrointestinal disorders from immune responses to foods
  • Adverse reactions to drugs and diagnostic testing materials
  • Recurrent infections both bacterial and viral (lungs, sinuses, skin)
  • Angioedema (hereditary and acquired)
  • Pediatric allergic diseases (food allergies, eczema, asthma)
  • Evaluation of allergic reactions to bee/wasp stings

Please note that we do not administer allergy shots at the Western Montana Clinic.
