Dr. Sticka was previously an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Cardiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Heart Institute. He earned his BA at The University of Montana as a Davidson Honors College Scholar in astrophysics and received an award for Excellence in Research while obtaining his MD at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
Dr. Sticka has researched or instructed on: pericardial tissue retraction in vitro;prenatal detection of congenital heart disease; cardiac effects of pediatric blood disorders and cancer; cardiac MRI; conventional and 3D echocardiography; and innocent and pathologic murmurs. He has volunteered in charity care throughout Central America and the USA.
Dr. Sticka enjoys exploring Missoula and Western Montana with his family.
