Wendy Flansburg is a certified nurse-midwife who specializes in caring for women of all ages, throughout their lifetime.  With a special emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, gynecologic and reproductive health.

Wendy focuses on what is most important to each of her patients unique situation to provide personalized care.

Wendy Flansburg provides all-inclusive women's health care through the Western Montana Clinic in Missoula, Montana.  Wendy was formerly with Missoula Midwives and has privileges with Providence, St. Patrick Hospital's, Family Maternity Center. 

As a certified midwife with the Western Montana Clinic, Wendy's patients enjoy the patient-centered, natural midwifery approach, bolstered by the full support of the Western Montana Clinic Obstetrics & Gynecology physicians: Drs. Mark Garnaas, Janice Givler, Robert Humble and Jennifer Mayo.

What is a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM)? 

CNMs are registered nurses with graduate education in midwifery.  They have graduated from a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) http://www.midwife.org/Accreditation  This education includes a university degree as well as hands-on clinical training by practicing CNMs.  They also have passed the national certification exam of the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) http://www.amcbmidwife.orf/
